We'll be playing a show to help raise funds for Haiti relief efforts at Iota this Friday 1/22. Lots of good bands, great cause.
Hey Friends,
Just a quick update on what we're doing these days.
You might have heard, we had a lineup change. Yasir Al-Hassani has taken the place of longtime drummer and friend Chris Zogby. Zog is playing with an awesome alt-country band called Memphis 59. They sound a bit like Ryan Adams, and with John Jennings producing and regularly playing out with these guys, their show and CD are not to be missed. Boxcar Collision is Yasir's first band, and we're lucky to have him. He continues to impress us with his style and skills, and think you be impressed too. And he's really freaking cute, so come to our next show.
Tom's written a bagful of new songs that we're putting the finishing touches on now. We should begin recording soon, and then we'll be back with another update. We can't wait for this next album to be done!!!! The pressure is on. The songs are upbeat and rocking (no depressive alcoholic ballads was my rule), and we think (hope!) you will love as much as we do.
Off to the studio... it's time to sing!
Happy 2010!
xo,
Ash

Our first battle of the bands... and WE WON!! Thanks to YOU.
It was a closed/private gig for University of MD Alumni members. The Alumni Center is awesome, a great place for events. Perfect for weddings and private rockstar parties...
Thanks for voting, and continuing to support us.
Love,
Ash & the band
