There's a new music venue in DC called The Red and The Black .

It's another outpost of DC9 (which we like) on H St. and it seems to have about the same level of local talent. Their schtick is a New Orleans theme - Red and Black is a nod to French royalty. Or maybe a roulette wheel. Or maybe the Stendhal novel. Or maybe they're just cool colors. Whatever, I would assume they have good beer, or least Dixie.
